There is a place in you that is still tender. You know the one. The wound that did not get the apology. The loss that did not get the closure. The season that did not get the witnesses it deserved.
Tender does not disqualify you. Tender is where God draws the closest. He is not waiting on you to finish healing before He calls you. He is calling you in the middle of it.
You are not too soft for the work He has for you. The softness is part of the work. Let Him be near today. That is enough.
Reflect
Where am I still tender, and have I let God near that place?
Pray
Jesus, come close to the part of me that still hurts. I do not have to be healed to be held. Hold me here. Amen.
