God is not asking you to perform for Him. He is asking you to be honest with Him. The pretty prayer is not more spiritual than the real one. He already knows. He is waiting for you to stop covering.
Your honesty is not irreverent. It is intimate. The women in Scripture who moved God most were the ones who stopped editing themselves in His presence.
Tell Him the truth today. The whole truth. The tired, the angry, the disappointed, the still-believing. He can hold all of it, and He will not love you less for any of it.
