The Wound Behind The Smile
Hidden Pain
The wounds you carry quietly while everyone calls you strong.
Sister, let me start here. There is a kind of pain that does not show up on your face, does not interrupt your schedule, and does not announce itself in a room. It just lives inside you. You smile, you serve, you show up, and underneath all of that, something is still bleeding quietly. That is hidden pain. And the first thing I want you to know is that hidden does not mean healed.
We learned somewhere that strong women do not flinch. We learned to keep our composure, to keep our calendar, to keep our witness, and to keep our hurt to ourselves. But the body keeps a record. The heart keeps a record. And eventually the soul will start asking for the care it never received.
Naming the pain is not weakness. It is the first act of healing. You are allowed to say, this hurt me. You are allowed to say, this changed me. You are allowed to say, I am still tender there. God is not embarrassed by your honesty. He is drawn to it.
Today, I want you to do one thing. Find one safe place, your journal, your prayer closet, a trusted sister, and tell the truth about one wound you have been carrying alone. Just one. You do not have to fix it today. You just have to stop pretending it isn't there.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
, Psalm 147:3
My pain deserves care, not a costume.

This Is Your Invitation To Stop Hiding And Start Healing
You do not have to have all the answers. You do not have to perform strength in places where your soul needs care. This movement is here to remind you that God still sees you, healing is still possible, and your story is not over.
