Loving God While Healing From His People

Church Hurt

Loving God while still healing from people who claimed to represent Him.

Sister, what happened to you in the house of God was not from God. The gossip, the manipulation, the favoritism, the silencing, the spiritual abuse, none of that has His name on it, no matter who tried to baptize it in scripture.

Church hurt is uniquely painful because the wound came from the place that promised to be your refuge. It is okay if you have not been able to walk back into a sanctuary yet. It is okay if worship music makes you cry for reasons you cannot explain. Your body remembers what your mind tries to forgive.

Healing from church hurt does not require you to leave God. It requires you to separate God from the people who misrepresented Him. He is still good. His people are still growing. And you are still loved by Him, whether or not the building has earned your trust back.

When you are ready, find a small, safe table of believers before you find a big building. Sisterhood first. Honesty first. Healing first. Then, when the time is right, you will know which doors to walk through again.

"A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out."

, Isaiah 42:3

I can love God and still take my time with His people.

Your Invitation

This Is Your Invitation To Stop Hiding And Start Healing

You do not have to have all the answers. You do not have to perform strength in places where your soul needs care. This movement is here to remind you that God still sees you, healing is still possible, and your story is not over.
