Holding Standards Without Holding Your Breath
Singleness & Loneliness
Holding standards, holding hope, holding yourself together.
Sister, single is not a season of less. It is a season of becoming. But let us also be honest. Some nights are long. Some weddings are hard. Some holidays are quieter than you wanted. That is not a lack of faith. That is a real human heart wanting real human company.
Loneliness is not proof that something is wrong with you. It is proof that you were made for connection. Honor the longing. Just do not let the longing make decisions for you that your standards would not approve of in the morning.
While you are waiting, build the woman you want to bring into a covenant. Heal what needs healing. Grow what needs growing. Forgive what needs forgiving. Learn yourself so well that you cannot be talked into a love that costs you peace.
And when the loneliness sits down beside you, do not rush it away. Let it remind you to call a sister, to worship, to walk, to write, to laugh, to live. Your life is already full of love. The romance, when it comes, will be an addition, not a rescue.
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
, Deuteronomy 31:8
I am whole while I wait.

This Is Your Invitation To Stop Hiding And Start Healing
You do not have to have all the answers. You do not have to perform strength in places where your soul needs care. This movement is here to remind you that God still sees you, healing is still possible, and your story is not over.
