How Exhausting It Is To Be Fine For Everybody

The Cost Of Pretending

How exhausting it is to be 'fine' for everybody else.

Pretending is expensive. It costs your sleep. It costs your peace. It costs your prayer life. It costs the relationships that could actually hold the real you, because the real you never gets a chance to show up.

You did not start pretending because you are fake. You started pretending because at some point, the truth was not safe. Somebody used your honesty against you. Somebody made your softness a punchline. So you put on a face that the world could handle, and you forgot to take it off.

Today is the day you stop performing wellness you do not feel. Start small. Tell one person one true thing this week. Let them see the version of you that lives behind the smile. Healing happens in the rooms where you do not have to translate yourself.

God already knows. He has known the whole time. He is not waiting for you to look impressive. He is waiting for you to come home.

"You desire truth in the inward parts."

, Psalm 51:6

I do not have to perform to be loved.

If this conversation met you where you are, the books were written for you. Two volumes, one movement, and a sisterhood waiting on the other side.

Your Invitation

This Is Your Invitation To Stop Hiding And Start Healing

You do not have to have all the answers. You do not have to perform strength in places where your soul needs care. This movement is here to remind you that God still sees you, healing is still possible, and your story is not over.
